Event Information

This year's 85th Annual Long Beach Sand Sculpture Competition will feature an impressive centerpiece sculpture built from a dream team of professionals creating an impressive work of art from sand for your enjoyment. The sculpture will be dramatically lit for incredible night time viewing.

You can also try your creative design skills and build your own sculpture.
Or simply wander the varied vendor booths of Art, Crafts and Food Tents.
There will even be Bar Service available (for those over 21) to partake
while enjoying some of Long Beach's best live music!

 

Amateur contest sign up on site Saturday between 7:00am and 9:00am judging at 2:00pm Please bring everything you'll need... Shovels, buckets etc.

Try your hand at sand sculpting and win up to $500! Sign-up your own sand sculpting team of up to 10 at www.lbsandcastle.com The community competition will take place Saturday, August TBA from 9:00am - 3:00pm

Join us for the day to simply meander our arts and crafts vendor booths and food tents while enjoying some of Long Beaches best live music.

Do you have kids? The event will include an impressive kid’s zone, where kids can build their own sandcastles! (with parent supervision) giant slides, jumpers, climbing wall, parachute drop, hamster balls and a lot more fun.

The parking lot between the pier and the Belmont Plaza Pool
and the parking lot east of the pool.
